Emma Maude Fuller Armbrust

September 22, 1995

This is the finale.

To my children and grandchildren.

You are my world and I am proud of you.

We are continuing with our Creative Writing Class again this year -

and I will be carrying on with these boring pages.

Now we have chosen the subject of "Free Speech" to write on.

I, of course, believe in free speech.

We are a very lucky country founded on freedom.

(read our history)

Everyone has rights and must execute them to the best of their ability.

But, I think this changing world is tiresome!

One should be thoughtful, have patience, and be careful of speech and opinions.

Be considerate of the feelings of other people.

Now that I am old I am so often mistaken,

Please forgive me.

I am thankful to be independent, and thankful to accept favors you can bestow on me.

God Bless you, one and all!

Thank you

This was written by Emma

Maude Fuller Armbrust,

my beautiful grandmother.

My dad's mother.

She was 85 years old

when she wrote this.

On July 6th, at 100 years old

she left us.

I read her prose as a eulogy.

In her own words you will see who she was.

You will understand why she means so much to us.

She loved us unconditionally,

she taught us to be humble

she taught us to respect others.

Those three values remain in me

I am so blessed.

How is it possible to be rendered speechless when I sit down to write...
honestly, I do have a voice, and I promise to make it clear. Meanwhile,
enjoy your day as I look forward to Alexandra coming home for the weekend.
I miss her like crazy.

I like my camera today~
and my front yard
hydrangeas~
last year there were no blossoms
this year they take my breath away

the point

New camera
Canon 5d markII
learning curve is a tough one
Of the 657 shots I took,
this is the only sooc
(straight out of camera) photo
I thought was worth posting.
Hope to show you some of the beauty surrounding me, and learn how to use my camera at the same time.
