The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient.
To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith.
Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches.
Patience and faith.
One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach
waiting for a gift from the sea.

A Gift From the Sea
This past month has been a challenge.
I have watched Kenny walk thousands of miles
in his inability to sleep.
Medicines have had reverse effects on his system.
I have had to be patient, and never lose hope.
The hospital staff has been amazing.
They have supported Kenny.
They have supported me.
They have listened.
I have listened.
I am waiting patiently
for my gift from the sea.

Hang in there Cheryl . . just press in and let God guide you. It's in the valleys of our lives when God does his best work . . When were on the mountain tops we can see everything and life is grand but it's in the valleys where we really gain more. Blessings, Sandy:O)
