Baker's Beach 2010
Don't grow up too quickly,
lest you forget how much you love the beach

Yes, that fabulous babe in the white shades is me.
Holding my little brothers hand. GAH!!!
We were dressed and ready to head down to the beach.
My brother and I have said
that we thought this was everyones summer life.
Wake up, make lunch
day at the beach
home
take the beach bag out
repack for the next day.
You mean it wasn't what everyone else did?
Some things just never change
Kenny would want you to know
He is NOT a beach person
He would do this for me
That is what marriage is
The compromises
I love that
Weekend at Bakers 2010
He has always known that if he is going to find me
I will be close to the water, by the lifeguard chair on the left
It's our spot
weekend at Bakers 2010

Oh! How I love that picture with you and Kenny at the beach!! I love everything about your look! And Kenny is so handsome!
Hello Cheryl:
Oh, those carefree days of childhood when the only worry was what to pack in the beach bag.
Although we would not call ourselves 'beach' people, we are most definitely 'sea' people. Not to go in, but rather to look at it for hours on end.
Hoping that you enjoying sunny days at the seaside!
Beautiful pictures, especially of you and Kenny...thats such a wonderful and warm picture. Is there anything as great as being a kid at the beach with the sun shining, the waves splashing and not having a care in the world? Having spent many of my own childhood days at the ocean, I have very fond memories and even as an adult, I find nothing more magical or relaxing than a quiet day at the beach. That is where I am my happiest and most at peace.
Beautiful! I second Donna, that photo of the two of you by the beach is excellent. :)
The beach is a great place to remember and to enjoy. Whenever I go I think of my mom. For me the beach represents something spiritual because growing up we went every year for a family week at a church camp. My mom had gone every year of her life so I feel closest to her spirit/memories when I'm there.
My fiance and I have considered getting married at a beach because we love being out by the water. :) Thanks for reminding me of wonderful times!
What a beautiful picture of the two of you! I have been reading thru your story along with the links about your husband's disease. It must be heartbreaking to have to go thru what you are dealing with but it also must feel good to know that you can be there for your husband when he needs you most.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am also enjoying your beach pictures and quotes. Oh - and to answer your question, I think you could jump in and watch Royal Pains. They usually do a recap at the beginning but even if you miss some things, you will grow to love the characters and hopefully tonight there will be some great Hamptons house snooping!
Take care,
Shelley
