Our Hydrangea
decides for itself
which blue to be
or not
reaching through pinks
into purples
one growing season
bringing many hues
and moods, pinks
into purples
and purples
into pink
each year the one shrub
getting wider and wilder
decides for itself
which blue to be
or not
reaching through pinks
into purples
one growing season
bringing many hues
and moods, pinks
into purples
and purples
into pink
each year the one shrub
getting wider and wilder

My first bouquet of the season
Last years bounty
Not only have the roses been eked out
The split rail fence is slowly disappearing
I love my hydrangeas

My favorite flower and its truly the gift that keeps on giving...don't you just love them? Yours are gorgeous, the color so brilliant and they make the best arrangements for inside the house!
Hello Cheryl:
Your Hydrangeas are indeed wonderful. Blowsy and fullsome, they have obviously loved the weather conditions this year. And yes, it is always intriguing how the colour depends upon soil condition.
Now if I were your neighbor, I would either be clipping or painting such glorious bunches of happy hydrangea's. Hope you are taking time to enjoy them.
