It's very hard to add to an existing house
To make it special without overshadowing the main house

It also takes awhile to find the right art for your home
You have to feel it

Blue Dory by Anne Packard does this for me

This giclee is the first thing I see
when I look into my new office.

I feel at peace.

This is how Packard describes her work
My paintings have nothing to do with nature.
It's something to do with
forever going...
the space behind the sky...
the space behind the shadow.

It's an inner world [of] emotion and yearning.
I yearn to express solitude.
Anne Packard
Syndicated Feature Story - November 1985

'It's more of an atmosphere that I like to capture,'
Packard says.
'I do paintings that are alone,
not lonely,
that good kind of aloneness.'
Kay Longcope

The Boston Globe - September 3, 1982

I have to agree

I purchased this from an amazing gallery in Ohio
PJ was amazing to work with

Below are other works by Packard

Good morning, Cheryl!

I believe this is the first time I have seen you! THANK YOU FOR LEAVING A COMMENT to let me know that you have been here before! Oh how I love the coast. I am in the middle of the country, but at least we have lakes...many of them. Your images are stunning as I grew up on the coast, in L.A., and I lived right on the water in Beverly, Massachusetts for years. Thank you for your calming words....sea treasures are found in our hearts that dream...Anita
