Hi Cheryl, this was so poignant. You expressed yourself so beautifully. As much beauty and fun and happy as there is in blogland, I am always touched by the human stories behind the blogs and yours is truly a remarkable story of true unconditional love and loyalty, I am in awe of what you do. I will keep Kenny in my prayers, he is incredibly lucky to have you and I have a feeeling you feel very lucky to have him too. God bless...........
Cheryl,You are a woman of strength, courage and dedication and Kenny and your family and friends are no doubt fortunate to have you and your positive outlook and of course faith brings us hope.I spotted the "Union" T-shirt that Kenny is sporting...our son will be off to Union College in a few weeks. Hang onto that marvellous outlook you have. There is a plan and everything happens for a reason. We may not understand at the time, but time brings clarity. With warm Welsh wishesDianneYONKS UKX
Hi Cheryl, God has amazing timing . . and whatever is taken from us, he fully restores and then some. Yes, you are where you suppose to be. Press in and stay close to the one above. Love is so much deeper then the surface . . love makes us do and endure incredible situations . . I know that now. Dave's life and the way he lived it to the very end only added to mine. Thinking about you often in prayer, Sandy:O)
My heart opens wide to you Cheryl. God knows how many times I asked for strength for my Mother, Sister and myself, and Dad's caregivers, and for the patience to endure. Faith made it possible and the love was never stronger than in those years, but I admit there were low times when I let God know how angry and sad I was, and those were the times, inevitably, that I felt GOd closer than ever.
Hello Cheryl,You are incredibly strong and positive. Your words and the photos you captured are simply amazing. It really make you think...I loved your last post too! I think you called it a bit of Normal...It looked like fun!xo annie
Yes. Most definitely, when all is said and done, HE knows all. In the mean time, you are doing what He would want you to do....creating LOVE in your home. Your photos are rich with moments of pain, beauty, tranquility and the human condition. It is poetry dearest. The dog is super darling!!! My favorite type, and I am sure, he/she is a great influence on keeping a peaceful mood.Anita
Thanks for your visit, Cheryl. I KNOW you understand. I've been away from blog-land for a bit and have just caught up with your recent posts. Don't know how you feel about being thought of as 'strong'--we do what we have to do, and hope to do it with grace, is what I think. Touching photos. So glad you had that gathering. Love is what we need.
