IN WHICH I enjoy a Valentine's Day, I remember a year ago, and an Apple goes to the hospital.

I suppose I should begin with my computer needing to be repaired.
For those of you with any kind of Mac you are familiar with the little beach ball.
You know the one I am talking about.
The one that tells you to wait.
Well, I would wait, and wait, and wait.
I assumed this was normal.
Alexandra, however, assured me that I had the slowest computer in the world.
I brought it in for a check up.
She was right.
After purchasing TWO external hard drives
(I'll explain that another time)
I learned how to back up my computer,
take all photographs off
I left my baby to be tested.
Hard drive - check
Software - not so much
The wonderful "doctors" at my Apple hospital
found the problem,
repaired everything
and now I am sort of back up and running.

Memories
Kenny had a seizure
Some people with FTD do
There was no roadmap. There still isn't.
Graham and Alexandra were both home with us
What happened because of the anti seizure medication
was inconceivable

I am so grateful for the time we had

What a WONDERFUL picture of your husband! I feel your pain with the Apple issues. Luckily my husband fixed mine, because they can be expensive to fix.

Hi Cheryl, It's amazing how we treasure our memories with our love ones after they pass. Those memories mean so much to me too, so precious. Happy to hear you are back up and running again. I have an IMAC too and know just what you mean about the "little beach ball". My oldest son Davey, does IT for a living, he's my fix it guy whenever my computer acts up. Nice to have him around. Have a beautiful afternoon, Sandy:O)

Great pics of all of you. I am happy for you that you have the memories that you and your family created, the beautiful pictures you took, and a great place (your blog) to talk about them and share them with us!

Memories are what makes something or someone forever alive in our minds and spirits, and I am sure Kenny will forever be there with you. Sending a hug....

I am sorry you lost Kenny. A handsome beautiful man. May he rest in peach and may your fond memories of him always abide.

As a MacBook user too, I understand.

May your weekend be bright.

Life sure does keep us feeling grateful. I feel that you have been given more courage than most to withstand loss and to comprehend what can be restored. May all the hard drives and memories you share continue to provide grace in your day. Grace upon grace to you dear Cheryl.
I hope I have half the strength you have during times that require patience, tenacity and ardor.

Hugs coming your way. You are a mentor for me, a calming spirit, in your prose and pictures. Thank you. Kenny was lucky to have had you!!
