Learning a lens

First week

 The more I take photos,
the more I am sure that I know very little.
There is so much to learn.
I could read and practice constantly,
and there is so much more to understand.
It is fun however, when I take that shot,
and it looks just the way I think it should.
I love that.

I think you've mastered it...your photos are always beautiful. I on the other hand I have much to learn...I'm just not good with instruction manuals. Right now I shoot almost everything outside, but that will change when we move back to CT this summer.

A friend suggested COrey Hilz's book on the D90 (the camera I have) and it is so readable and enjoyable! I dont think he has written for the Canon, but perhaps someone else has written a "user friendly" book for your camera. The user guides that come with the cameras are not easy reading!
