Happy Father's Day
to all the men
who have shaped our lives.
This is a different one for us.
Alexandra and Graham decided
that this would be the weekend
we would build a garden for dad.
It's almost finished.
There are a few things left to do.
I know he loves it.
But more than anything,
I know that he loved watching
Alexandra and Graham
digging, and planting
so proud of their garden.
They are their father's children
His life was gentle, and the elements
So mixed in him that nature might stand up
And say to all the world,
"This was a man!"
William Shakespeare
How blessed they are that this man is their father.
He is with them always.

Beautiful. Touching.
Wonderful children, beloved dad.
Your heart must be bursting with emotions.
I love all the colorful plants they chose!!!
What a beautiful way to spend the day. My heart is with you all.
And don't forget to get some Japanese anemones in there. They'll bloom in the fall!
Gardening is good for the soul.
I love how a garden can create a bit of heaven on earth.

Cheryl...cannot imagine a more beautiful way to honor their dad than building a garden that was built with him in mind, obviously one with much love and purpose. A beautiful and poignant way to honor someone who like, the garden is one of Gods special gifts:)
LOVE this!
So lovely, wonderful and touching Cheryl!
When our Grandmother died all of the family gathered on the hillside of her property that bordered the main road and planted nearly 300 daffodils.
Although the property has been owned by two other families since... those flowers have multiplied to provide one of the "best shows" in town, and always in honor of Grandma Jean.
Cheers!
