Stephen and I are the bookends of the family.
Is it because of this that he holds a special place in my heart?
I don't think so.
As different as we all are,
I just seem to
I just seem to
"get Stephen"
Today we are in Norfolk, Virginia
He has been the Commander of the USS Nicholas, which has been at sea for six months,
and has had many very successful missions

Today he is leaving that ship, handing it over to another
Capable Naval Officer.
I will take photos
But here is one from a celebration in Boston on the USS Hawes
This was another ship on which he was Commander.
Kenny was there

I miss him

My husband was a Navy officer - good men! We owe them so much!
You must be SO proud!! Nothing as noble and heroic as the job of a military man! My dad was a career naval officer and he to me, stands high above any other man I know (well my husband is right up there with him)! Congrats to your son.....a job well done!
Tina, Stephen is my brother, but trust me, no one could be more proud.
Hi Cheryl, Family time is always good . . . it seems like we cherish the memories of our love ones that have passed over . . . but I know we will see them again. Boy, do i have a few words for Dave my husband and I don't know how pleasant they will be . . . I miss my husband terribly too. Sandy xo
Hello Cheryl:
But all of this prompts the most wonderful memories, of that we are sure.
Kellemes hétvégét.
